Rules & Regulations:

Game Rules:

The Rules are key to the success of our wine nights, it will provide structure and continuity to our events. Rate each wine on a numeric scale of 1-10, 1 meaning extreme dislike, and 10 being extremely enjoyable. You will also have 3 “Y(es)” marks to allot, this “Y(es)” mark indicates that the bottle is a wine you would enjoy as an everyday wine, or would like to have again. Conversely you will also receive 1 “N(o)” mark, this mark indicates that the wine in question is to your taste a “no go”. The “N(o)” mark will negate another person's “Y(es)” mark. After the tastings, the “Y(es)”/”N(o)” marks will be tallied at the end to determine the “best” and “worst” bottle. In the event of a tie, the winner will be determined by the total numerical value of the scores received.

Event Rules:

The unfortunate part - event rules. Wine Night events will have rules, and failure to follow them may result in removal from the invitation list for future events. They are in no particular order, but some may carry more weight than others. These rules may be added to, or removed at any time.

  • Please do not come "pre-gamed", in other words, being a larger event, please do not drink beforehand, so that we may be level headed for the judging portion of the event.

  • Please arrive on time, if you will be late, we cannot guarantee that your wine will be entered into the running. If you can no longer attend, please send a message to the hosts so that the event can start on time.

  • Please taste and rate all the wines, this will help future events. Spittoons will be available for those desiring not to drink.

  • Please leave all drama at the door, and enjoy one another's fellowship.

  • Please leave feedback, or suggestions after each event, so that we can help make the experience "that much" better.

  • Please enjoy yourself, and make new friends.
